These names just came back to me as well from 82 - 84:
Marshall Hunerkoch (FT or GM?)
Todd Biddle (FT?)
Anyone remember them? |

Hey does anybody remember a Sonar Tech named Tipton? He was in a motorcycle crash shortly after we got back into San Diego after the ships commissioning. He was messed up pretty bad! Never did hear how he made out after I got out of the Navy...
I think he was the passenger on the bike but I don't remember who was driving. I don't think that the driver got hurt bad... |

Steve,
I remember Tipton. Little guy, couldn't have been much over 5' tall. Usually had a smile on his face and easy to get along with
Sorry I can't help beyond that. It's the first I've heard his name since those days.... |

Yeah, I remember them. We all went to C school together. Todd, Marshal and I reported to the ship together and served till I left in 84. I can't remember if todd was still on board when I left or not. Last I heard from marshal he was teaching C school (or at least about to). |

I was in OI DIV and I recognize all of those names. They were a hard working/party group I would be proud to call shipmate.
Now for a moment of silence for those who have crossed this earthly quarter deck for the last time. |

hello shipmate~
my name is barry littleton. I was a FC (Mk86 Tech) from 1994 to 2000. Marshall was my Master Chief while I was on the USS California CGN-36. He was hands down, the greatest technician and Senior Enlisted person I have ever met. I would go so far as to say he was my mentor, today I still emulate him and his techniuqes.
I do not know his current address or #, but I do know that he grew up in and was moving back to Metropolis Illinois. You should be able to find him via that town or if you go to a website that searches public databases (merlin information systems is a good one.)
Good luck - feel free to email me if you have any questions.
